Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

After High School, a Four Year Mechanical and Electrical Engineering course led to the award of the Graduate Title, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

These studies were made at the Universidad del Norte, a private school in Monterrey, México. From 1989 to 1993.

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc.E.E.)
Power Systems

I have been lucky enough to graduate from a Master´s Degree on Electrical Engineering, with a major on Power Systems.

I was thoroughly financially supported by a Scholarship from the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT)

This was at the State University of Nuevo León (UANL), in 1994 to 1996.

Professional Training.

I have kept abreast of new technologies and trained in business as needed.

A few examples  of this pattern are:

Six Sigma training (Design for Six Sigma, Design for Manufacture, Green Belt, etc.)

FNF (Finance for Non-Financiers), BELS (Building Essential Leadership Skills), LDC (Leadership Development Course).

3D Parametric Modelling with Solidworks, AutoCAD, Design of Electrical Machines using Finite Element Method software, Matlab and Simulink, with SimPower Systems and Control System Toolboxes.

EMTP/ATP Electromagnetic Transient Program Training, Mathcad, LaTeX, PostScript, and others.

Electrical Engineer, Distribution and Power Transformers and Large Motors and Generators
